The incident has ties to the infamous East Coast vs West Coast Hip Hop Feud and other notable NYC street figures; which ultimately led to Sundhe being innocently tied into the vicious crime that he had nothing to do with. After surviving and growing up in prison from his late teens to mid 30s, Sundhe was finally released in 2013 after his case was investigated due to the involvement of an infamously crooked NYPD detective. He was later exonerated for the murder in 2018.
